Methodist Athletics Hall of Fame
In his short time with the Monarch men's basketball team (1988-1990), Clinton Montford was a rebounding force for the Monarchs. Despite standing just 6 feet 1 inch tall, Montford still shares the NCAA Division III record for rebounds in a single game with 36 against Warren Wilson in 1989. He holds the Monarch single-season record for rebounds (459) in 1988-89, leading the nation in rebounding (17.0 RPG) while helping to push Methodist to its first winning season in more than a decade. Montford is the fourth player from the men's basketball program to earn Hall induction.
