Methodist University Athletics

Smith competed for the Methodist women's golf team all four years, from 1996 to 2000, leading the Monarchs to three consecutive national championships in 1998, 1999, and 2000. During her final season, Smith was crowned the individual national champion herself. A two-time First Team All-American in 1998 and 2000, she also received the National Golf Coaches Association Division III Player of the Year award in 2000.
