Barragan was the women's tennis coach from 2006 through 2015. She posted a career mark of 201-39, capturing eight USA South Athletic Conference regular-season titles and seven conference-tournament crowns, advancing into the NCAA Division III tournament following each of those league-tournament championships.

Her conference peers voted Barragan the USA South women's tennis coach of the year eight times including seven years in a row, beginning with the 2006 season's award.

Student-athletes from her squads earned three conference players of the year and one conference rookie of the year award, and 20 of her players were voted first-team All-USA South.
